Public transportation

The Québec City German Christmas Market strongly encourages you to use public transport for your visit. It's a simple, affordable and efficient solution that will save you the search for a parking spot in Old Québec. In addition to simplifying your life, you will help fight climate change!

The Réseau de Transport de la Capitale (RTC) provides free parking lots located at strategic locations across the city. Several regular bus routes will allow you to easily get to the Market. Bus route 11 has a stop directly at the German Christmas Market, in front of the Québec City Hall. Several other bus routes can drop you off at Terminus Place d’Youville (800, 801, 807) or in a nearby street. You can see all details of the free parking lots and bus routes on the RTC website.

To make your travels easier, download and use the RTC mobile apps. The RTC Nomade temps réel app (Apple Store / Google Play) allows you to get the bus route schedules. The RTC Nomade paiement app (Apple Store / Google Play) allows you to buy your tickets using your phone.

For people with impaired mobility, the Paratransit (STAC) can drop you off safely on Sainte-Anne Street, right next to the German Christmas Market.
